Tufts University will be hosting the 2025 convening of The North East Universities Development Consortium (NEUDC) Conference, a major forum in development economics that welcomes academics from around the world. The NEUDC has been held annually since 1967. The location and sponsorship of the annual NEUDC conference usually rotates around the organizing institutions: Boston University, Brown University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Tufts University, and Yale University.
All LMIC-based researchers who are accepted to present a political economy and governance-focused paper at NEUDC will be automatically considered for a grant to cover their travel and other conference expenses through J-PAL’s Governance Initiative.
